TNI Ada Ditengah-tengah Rakyat

Kuningan Terkini - Kepala Divisi Litbang TNI AD, Brigjen Rudiono Edi menyatakan, bahwa TNI ada ditengah-tengah rakyat. Hal ini diungkapkan Edi ketika memberikan jawaban kepada peserta dialog tata ruang peradaban yang menanyakan sikap TNI terkait rencana penambangan panas bumi di Kabupaten Kuningan.
“Contohnya, banyak konflik serupa yang terjadi di beberapa wilayah Indonesia, Dewan Ketahanan Nasional (Wantannas) turut membantu menyelasaikan konflik tersebut. Dan bisa berhasil. TNI bersama rakyat,” kata Edi.
Ia mengatakan, sesuai dengan konstitusi, masyarakat yang menolak proyek geothermal bisa mengajukan kepada DPR atau Wantannas. Wantannas akan menerima aspirasi rakyat untuk disampaikan kepada Presiden.
“Sebenarnya tujuan UU panas bumi agar bisa menciptakan listrik murah. Tapi UU kelistrikan tidak mau beli listrik dari panas bumi. Ini persoalan,” ungkapnya kepada sejumlah awak media.
Ditanya mengenai intervensi asing terhadap proyek pertambangan Freeport dan Chevron, ia sendiri dalam hal ini dari Wantannas menginginkan nasionalisasi semua aset.
“Kita ingin adanya pninjuan kembali kepada kontrak karya dan sebagainya. Karena selama ini Pembagian hasilnya tidak fair,” pungkasnya. (DHE)
