Paguyuban Catur Pasapen Gelar Lomba Catur

Lomba catur antar warga Pasapen.

Kuningan Terkini - Puluhan penggemar olahraga catur di lingkungan Pasapen Kelurahan Kuningan antusias mengikuti lomba catur yang diselenggarakan Paguyuban Catur Pasapen, Minggu (30/08/2015). Acara yang berlangsung di halaman gedung pertemuan rt 01/03 ini digelar untuk menyambut HUT Kuningan ke-517.

Ketua panitia, Sohip sohipudin mengatakan, Kejuaraan Catur se-Pasapen ini dalam rangka menyambut HUT Kuningan ke-517. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga sebagai ajang silaturahmi antar sesama penghobi olahraga catur di lingkungan pasapen dan sekitarnya.

"Ya, kegiatan ini digelar oleh Paguyuban Catur Pasapen, selain sebagai ajang silaturahmi, juga unuk memeriahkan hari jadi Kuningan ke-517. Mudah-mudahan, lomba catur antar warga pasapen ini bisa melahirkan pecatur berbakat,” katanya.

Dikatakan, ada 2 kelas dalam lomba catur antar warga Pasapen ini. Yaitu, kelas pemula dan kelas semi master. Tidak hanyaitu, pecatur Nasional bergelar Master Nasional, Arisman juga ikut memantau kegiatan lomba Catur antar warga Pasapen.

“Luar biasa, organisasi saja belum tentu bisa mengadakan kegiatan seperti ini. Kegiatan ini sangat bagus untuk mencari bibit baru, sehingga ada regenerasi,” kata pecatur Nasional ini menjelaskan.

Catur kata Arisman, merupakan olahraga yang sangat murah, namun harus memerlukan ketenangan, tanpa emosional, unik dan paling mudah dilaksanakan. Saya berharap, kegiatan seperti ini bisa terus berkesinambungan,” terang atlet catur yang menjuarai di Tegal Open belum lama ini.(l.hakim)
