Kuningan Terkini - Travelling menjadi salah satu aktivitas paling menyenangkan. Tak terkecuali bagi para hijabers, berhijab pun tak membatasi traveler wanita untuk melakukan aktifitas travelling. Ira misalnya, traveler asal Desa Babakan.
Menurut Ira, kebanyakan orang menilai dengan mengenakan hijab saat travelling cenderung terkesan ribet dan membuat gerah. Namun, Ira mengaku lebih nyaman dengan berhijab karena tidak meninggalkan kewajibannya sebagai seorang muslim.
"Jilbab gak harus menghalangi perempuan untuk jalan-jalan. Alhamdulillah buat saya nggak ada hambatan," kata Ira kepada Kuningan Terkini, Jumat (19/2/2016).
Gadis cantik kelahiran 14 April 1995 itu mengaku, kerap mengenakan hijab saat melakukan traveling kemanapun.
“Pakai jilbab atau kerudung itu kan sebenarnya adab. Kewajiban bagi wanita yang sudah baligh (dewasa) untuk wajib menutup auratnya, termasuk menutup lekuk tubuh. Agak ribet sih, cuma itu termasuk pilihan dan banyak kok traveler yang pakai kerudung gede cuma mungkin bahan dan modelnya lebih nyaman dan simpel,” ungkap gadis lulusan SMK Yaspika Karangtawang Kuningan itu.
Menurutnya, sebagai wanita muslim, menutup aurat memang menjadi salah satu kewajiban. Bahkan, traveler perempuan yang berhijab tidak menghalangi saat melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan ekstrem.
“Coba saja sekarang banyak kok perempuan berhijab yang dijumpai saat mendaki gunung. Mereka wanita-wanita berkerudung, tapi tetap bisa sampai puncak gunung,” katanya. (DHE)
